Want a coffee that is as sweet as tea? Kedamesa is a tea-like delight with a burst of sweet, fruity flavours. A bold black tea note takes the lead, followed by hints of orange and lime for a zesty finish. This coffee is sweet, refreshing and moreish.

Produced by Negash Abarago on his family’s farm in Kedamesa village, Limu, within the Oromia zone, this lot showcases his decade-long expertise. A second-generation farmer, Negash inherited his farm from his parents and has dedicated over 10 years to cultivating coffee alongside bananas, false bananas, and avocados. While these crops provide food for his family, coffee is the lifeblood of his livelihood, representing a vital source of income.

Kedamesa is a perfect choice for those who love sweet, fruity brews with a vibrant twist - don’t miss the chance to experience this exceptional coffee from one of Ethiopia’s finest producers.

Limu, Oromia Zone

Produced in the Kedamesa village of Limu, which is located in the Oromia Zone in the south west of Ethiopia, at an elevation of 2,050 MASL.

A sweet and fruity brew

Coffee that tastes as sweet as tea? With a big flavour of black tea up front, followed by orange and lime, Kedamesa is easy to drink and 100% more-ish.

Washed

During processing, cherries were hand sorted, pulped, washed, then soaked in water overnight. After being washed again the next morning, the coffee was dried on raised African beds. Because these beds are outdoors, weather conditions were carefully monitored, and coffee was covered with a shade net during the intense midday sun and covered with tarpaulin overnight and during rain.
